"Even the Rain" takes its name from the eponymous film (También la Lluvia, 2010) which investigates the unfortunate legacy of Christopher Columbus as well as the modern day crises of water privatization and indigenous rights happening in Bolivia (as well as other South and Central American countries). Influenced by the swirling nature of weather, politics, caste and cultures, Even the Rain balances warm and cool, geometric and organic in the confines of a petite workspace. Ideal display will catch the metallic glint of copper that sets aesthetic fire to the work.
