Stationary/Occluded (#21) takes its name from the two types of meteorological fronts that occur when warm and cool air masses meet. A stationary front is a pair of air masses, neither of which is strong enough to replace the other. An occluded front occurs when a cold air mass overtakes a warm one. In parallel ways, we can see and experience these same interplays and outcomes in social fronts. Seen here as the abstraction of human emotions, attitudes and personalities meeting in the middle, and the linear way we narrate how such interactions unfold.
